Solar PV Open Evening - September 11

16th August 2013

TGE Group, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of renewable energy and heat technologies, has teamed up with rural property experts, Bruton Knowles, to organise an open evening near Wem, North Shropshire on Wednesday, 11th September, 6-7pm, showcasing the benefits of commercial solar PV and other renewable technologies for the farming and business community.

Bruton Knowles’ Gareth Lay will start the evening with an introduction to the renewables market including details of planning, finance and the benefits of renewable technologies.  Stephen Davies of TGE Group will then talk through the latest systems available for biomass, heat pumps and solar PV and illustrate the benefits achieved at Park Farm which installed a solar PV system in 2012.  The talk will also cover return on investment and value of on-going monitoring.

Rupert Higgin, Managing Director of TGE Group, comments: “This free event is a great opportunity for people in the rural and business sector to come and experience for themselves the latest opportunities in renewables. We will have experts on hand to answer questions and our guests can also see first-hand a successful 50kWp solar PV installation which is set to exceed output predictions by over 17% this year.”

This event takes place on Wednesday, 11th September at Wolverley, Wem in Shropshire, from 6 – 7pm.  Those interested in attending should register by email at or call 0845 643 2528.
